Brian worked "magic" on my shoulder and in the first visit made a difference -- I left feeling increased mobility and significantly reduced pain. To make matters more complicated, the scoliosis that had been slight was becoming increasingly more curved so that it, too, caused back pain and one hip was noticeably more elevated than the other Since I am a pianist and organist, this, along with my neck pain was making me think seriously that it was time to stop sitting on backless music benches. Then, a friend tend told me about you. She insisted that I see you and only said, "Let him work his magic!" Well, three months later, here I am. The neck pain is almost gone. The swelling is almost never and the scoliosis that doctors and chiropractors said could not be straightened, is, indeed, straightening! Even my hips are levelling out! While all is not perfect yet, I have had a total of only three treatments and faithfully done my exercises with these incredible results. Somewhere down the line, 1 can almost envision really great health. This is something that was impossible three months ago. Not satisfied with this response, I chose to seek alternative methods for an answer to my problem which ultimately led to me to the Naturopathic College Clinic. Brian took my homeopathic case and both to my amazement and excitement, my cycle has resumed.

Our little six pound Yorkie is our child. Although he's 14 '/ years old, and can't see or hear, we adore him and baby him. We listen to his little snores at night and smile at each other. My husband and I would do anything for him... but his health was failing and nothing we were doing was helping. His trachea started to collapse, his eyes developed glaucoma, and he started limping because his right rear leg wasn't working properly. And we just didn't know what to do.

The ophthalmologist recommended that we "kill" his eyes with an injection to relieve the pressure or give him eye drops but she wasn't optimistic that drops would work. We chose the eye drops but unfortunately she was right-the drops didn't lower his pressure. She pressed us to have his eyes injected. She felt he was suffering from the pain of increased pressure, but we couldn't bear the thought of doing that to our little blind baby. So we called a homeopath, Brian Orr. Although he specializes in treating people, we figured it couldn't hurt to consult him. Brian "tuned into" Mickey and recommended a two week treatment of Nux vomica -- a homeopathic remedy. About a month later we returned to the ophthalmologist for a re-check. The doctor was absolutely shocked. His pressure was not only lower, it was normal.

But Mickey developed a worsening of his collapsing trachea and began coughing almost constantly. Our vet prescribed valium, and when that didn't work, he suggested a narcotic cough suppressant that failed to help him either. We called Brian. Again he suggested a remedy that we gave him for 7 days. Interestingly, after just one dose, he went onto his little sherpa bed and fell asleep. He slept for almost 24 hours straight; only awakening to eat and go to the bathroom. The extreme coughing subsided and by the weeks end, he was back to his normal self (which meant some coughing, but mostly only when drinking or awakening which was normal for a challenged trachea).

Our next incident occurred the following month when we noticed he was lame in his rear leg. This latest insult worried us terribly. We made an appointment with an orthopedic specialist and took him in. We were saddened beyond belief to learn that there was nothing that could be done. The vet explained that even taking x-rays could lead to hurting this delicate little dog because he would be scared and the well meaning assistants could accidentally hurt him in their desire to keep him still. Furthermore, no surgery could even be considered with a dog this old and frail. He explained that with his tracheal issues would come a host of additional problems; both cardiac and respiratory. He looked at us and said "unfortunately there aren't many ticks left on his clock-just take him home and love him". We thanked the vet, but we were heartbroken.

As if Mickey had heard him, within a week he became very ill. He slept, and refused to eat and we were heartsick. Again we called Brian. We ordered the remedy he suggested by FedEx so we could begin the next day. Mickey had somehow picked up a virus he thought and he was again treated. The flu cleared up and his appetite returned. In fact, not only did his appetite return but his spirit was even stronger. Instead of a limp and a lifeless dog, I was greeted in the morning by an impatient, imperious little dictator who barked at me loudly when breakfast wasn't served quickly enough. He was back! My husband and I kidded that we should put Brian on a monthly retainer since our little guy has so many problems. In fact, we are waiting for our next remedy to arrive. Our latest consult was to treat his night time restlessness -- although not life threatening for him, it seemed urgent to us since we weren't able to sleep thought the night without being awakened at least twice

But my husband looked at me this morning and said "I think there are quite a few ticks left on his clock", and I agree.

Brian has managed to do what no vet could and all with natural, harmless remedies. But of course his diagnostic skills are extraordinary. We bless him and look forward to enjoying what time we have left with our little baby but both of us know that with Brian's help that time will be extended greatly.
